The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 144 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980, as extended by section 145 of that Act, section 2A(1) of the Maintenance Orders Act 1958(1), sections 2(3), 8(5) and 33(4) of the Maintenance Orders (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1972(2) and sections 12 and 48 of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982, after consultation with the Rule Committee under the said section 144, hereby makes the following Rules:—
section 2A was inserted by Schedule 11 to the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982 (c.27).
section 8(5) was amended by Schedule 11 to the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982.
