SCHEDULE EXCEPTIONS, ADAPTATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS TO THE MERCHANT SHIPPING (METRICATION) REGULATIONS 1973 AS EXTENDED TO THE ISLE OF MAN

1.  Any reference to an enactment shall be construed, unless the contrary intention appears, as a reference to it as it has effect in the Isle of Man.

2.  In paragraph (1) of Regulation 1, all the words from “and shall” to the end shall be omitted.

3.  In paragraph (1)(b) of Regulation 2, for “the 1st day of January 1974” there shall be substituted “31st August 1984”.

4.  Regulation 3 shall be omitted.
