This Order provides for the winding up of the Furniture and Timber Industry Training Board which was established by the Industrial Training (Furniture and Timber Board) Order 1965 and for the revocation of that Order and of the Industrial Training (Furniture and Timber Industry Board) Order 1969, the Industrial Training (Furniture and Timber Industry Board) Order 1969 (Amendment) Order 1970 and the Industrial Training (Furniture and Timber Industry Board) Order 1965 (Amendment) Order 1973, with effect from 15th September 1982. Any assets remaining on the completion of the winding up are to be applied for the purpose of encouraging training for employment.
