The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (Commencement No. 4) Order 1982

The Secretary of State for the Environment as respects England, The Secretary of State for Scotland as respects Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales as respects Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 74(3) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, hereby make the following order:

1.  This order may be cited as the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (Commencement No. 4) Order 1982.

2.  Sections 29, 30 and 31 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 shall come into force on 6th September 1982.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order provides for sections 29, 30 and 31 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 to come into force on 6th September 1982. The provisions in question are concerned with giving special protection to certain areas of special scientific interest.
