The Health Services Act 1980 (Commencement) Order 1980

19th August 1980

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 26(2) of the Health Services Act 1980 and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf I hereby make the following Order:-

1.  This Order may be cited as the Health Services Act 1980 (Commencement) Order 1980.

2.  The day appointed for the coming into force of section 14 of the Health Services Act 1980 shall be 8th September 1980.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into force section 14 of the Health Services Act 1980 which amends section 14 of the Health Services Act 1976 (c.83) by imposing a requirement to give notice of notifiable changes (as defined in that section) in hospital premises and makes certain consequential amendments.
