The arrow shown outside and immediately below the rectangle in the markings relating to item Nos. 5 and 8 in Schedule 4 indicate the side on which the photometric specifications are satisfied up to an angle of 80°H on front position (side) lamps or rear position (side) lamps whose geometric angles of visibility are asymmetrical in relation to the reference axis in a horizontal direction. The absence of an arrow means that, both left and right, the photometric specifications are satisfied up to an angle of 80°H on such lamps.
