In section 1 of the Protection of Animals (Anaesthetics) Act 1954 (c.46) for the words “the Secretary of State” in the first place where they occur there are substituted the words “the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales” and for the words “the Minister and the Secretary of State” in the second and third places where they occur there are substituted the words “those Ministers”.
