The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Coal Industry Act 1967 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) as amended by section 2 of the Coal Industry Act 1971 and section 4 of the Coal Industry Act 1973 and now vested in him(1) and all other powers in that behalf enabling him, hereby makes the following Order, a draft of which has been laid before Parliament and has been approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 3(4) of the Act.
