(1) For paragraph 2(2)(b) and (c) of Schedule 1, Part I there shall be substituted:—

(b)to all hovercraft registered in the United Kingdom, not being hovercraft whose owner (or managing owner if there is more than one owner) or manager resides or has his principal place of business in Northern Ireland; or whose owner (or managing owner if there is more than one owner) has no place of business in the United Kingdom.

(2) In paragraph 2(3) of the said Schedule 1, Part I, the words “ship's husband or other” shall be omitted.

(1) For paragraph 2(2) of Part I of Schedule 1, there shall be substituted:—

This paragraph applies, with such exceptions as may be prescribed, to all hovercraft registered in the United Kingdom, not being hovercraft whose owner (or managing owner if there is more than one owner), or manager resides or has his principal place of business in Great Britain, or whose owner (or managing owner if there is more than one owner) has no place of business in the United Kingdom.

(2) In paragraph 2(3) of the said Schedule 1, Part I, the words “ship's husband or other” shall be omitted.
