1. The enactments specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (which specify the maximum amount of payments in respect of the services of officers of government departments engaged in certain inquiries) shall be amended by substituting for the sums specified in column 2 of that Schedule the sums specified in column 3 thereof.
2. The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of this Order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
3. This Order may be cited as the Fees for Inquiries (Variation) Order 1968, and shall come into operation on 1st May 1968.
