RHODESIA AND NYASALAND FEDERATION

Part I of this Order dissolves the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, and certain Federal bodies. It provides for the transfer of the assets and liabilities of the Federation, and generally for the winding up of its affairs, establishing a Liquidating Agency for that purpose. Part II of the Order establishes a Staff Authority and Staff Commission with responsibility for officers of the Federal Public Service temporarily seconded to the Governments of the Territories; and it provides for the payment of pensions and other terminal benefits to Federal officers and other persons as set out in Schedule II.
