And be it further enacted, That in each of the Parishes so united into a District as aforesaid a Surveyor shall be elected, as herein mentioned, in addition to the District Surveyor so appointed as aforesaid : Provided nevertheless, that such Surveyor shall only be authorized and required to make, assess, and levy the Rate herein directed to be made, assessed, and levied, and from Time to Time pay over the Money arising therefrom to such District Surveyor.
