11 Penalties.U.K.
(1)If any railway company or other company or person acts in contravention of, or fails to comply with, any rule under this Act, then—
(a)the company or person shall be liable for each offence on conviction under the Summary Jurisdiction Acts to a fine not exceeding [F1level 3 on the standard scale], or in the case of a continuing offence to a fine not exceeding ten pounds for every day during which the offence continues after conviction;
