A parish council may agree to contribute the whole or any portion of the expenses of and incidental to the preparation and execution of a scheme for the regulation and management of any common within their parish (including any compensation paid under this Act), and the provisions of section eleven of the [56 & 57 Vict. c. 73.] Local Government Act, 1894, shall apply to the expenses incurred by the parish council for the purposes of such contribution.
