20 Amendment of law as to adjournment of meetings.U.K.

Where notice has been given of any sitting, whether original or by adjournment, to be held by an officer of the [F1Secretary of State] under the Metropolitan Commons Acts, 1866 to 1878, that officer may, by notice to be published in such manner as the [F1Secretary of State] direct, adjourn the sitting without attending for the purpose of the adjournment.
