5 Local Government Board to be central authority. S

The Local Government Board for Scotland (in this Act referred to as the Board) shall be the central authority for the execution of this Act. In addition to the powers conferred on or transferred to it by the M1Local Government (Scotland) Act 1894, the Board shall have the powers herein-after mentioned.
