Every qualified pilot, when required to do so by the pilotage authority by whom he is licensed, shall produce or deliver up his licence to that authority.

On the death of any qualified pilot, the person into whose hands his licence comes shall without delay transmit it to the pilotage authority who licensed the deceased pilot.

If any pilot or other person fails to comply with the requirements of this section, he shall for each offence be liable to a fine not exceeding ten pounds.
