230Justice of adjoining county may act when required.

When the attendance of any justice having jurisdiction in the county where the offence is committed cannot be conveniently obtained, any magistrate of any neigbouring or adjoining county to that in which the offence was deemed to have been committed may hear and determine any information exhibited before him, and he shall for that purpose have the same powers and authorities as a justice for the county in which the offence was or was deemed to have been committed.
