2Interpretation of " the Commissioners."
By " the Commissioners " shall herein be meant, as regards Lands in Great Britain, the Inclosure Commissioners for England and Wales, and as regards Lands in Ireland, the Commissioners of public Works in Ireland under an [1 & 2 W. 4. c. 33.] Act of the First and Second Years of His late Majesty King William the Fourth, intituled An Act for the Extension and Promotion of Public Works in Ireland, and an [5 & 6 Vict. c. 89.] Act of the Fifth and Sixth Years of the Reign of Her present Majesty, intituled An Act to promote Drainage of Lands, and Improvement of Navigation and Water Power in connexion with Drainage, in Ireland, and the several Acts amending the same respectively.
