An Act to facilitate the Formation, Management, and Maintenance of Piers and Harbours in Great Britain and Ireland.

WHEREAS it is expedient to encourage and facilitate the Formation, Management, and Maintenance of Piers and Harbours in Great Britain and Ireland : And whereas in certain Cases where it is now necessary to apply to Parliament for special Local Acts the Expense of obtaining such special Acts serves to prevent many necessary Works being undertaken :
Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, as follows ; that is to say,
