5There shall be paid out of moneys provided by Parliament such sums as may be required for the purpose of any undertaking given by the Treasury, in consideration of the operating company reducing its charges with a view to bringing them into conformity with the Bermuda agreement, as to the making of payments to the company in respect of the net loss of revenue (if any) suffered by it, in consequence of the reductions, for the period before the appointed day.
