This is the original version (as it was originally enacted).
(1)If any person permits a ram or lamb to be on any land in contravention of regulations made under the last preceding section, he shall be guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding five pounds, and, if any such contravention in respect of which a person has been convicted if any such payment had been a debt which, at the beginning of that day accrued due to the first-mentioned person, would have been entitled to claim the payment otherwise than by virtue of an assignment.
