34Time for summoning parliament during prorogation

The date appointed for the meeting of parliament by a proclamation issued under section one of the [37 Geo. 3. c. 127.] Meeting of Parliament Act, 1797 (which relates to the summoning of parliament when prorogued), may be any day after the date of the proclamation; and accordingly that section as amended by the [33 & 34 Vict. c. 81.] Meeting of Parliament Act, 1870, shall have effect as if for the words " any day not being less than six days from the date of such proclamation " there were substituted the words " any day after the date of such proclamation ".
