6 Power of local authority to prosecute. E+W+S

[F1 (1)] A local authority in [F2 England or] Wales may prosecute proceedings for any offence under this Act committed in the area of the authority.

[F3 (2) A local authority in England may prosecute proceedings for an offence under section 2 committed in the area of the authority.]
