Welsh Church (Amendment) Act 1938

1 Amendment of 4 & 5 Geo. 5. c. 91, s. 19 (1) (b). U.K.

Paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section nineteen of the Welsh Church Act, 1914 (which made provision, among other things as to the application by the University of Wales of part of the property referred to in that paragraph for the benefit of the colleges of the University) shall have effect as if after the word “Monmouthshire” there were therein inserted the words “the University of Swansea”, and as if for the words “one-fourth,” there were therein substituted the words “three-sixteenth.”

2 Short title, construction and citation.U.K.

This Act may be cited as the Welsh Church (Amendment) Act 1938 and shall be construed as one with the M1Welsh Church Acts 1914 M2 and 1919 and those Acts and this Act may be cited together as the Welsh Church Acts 1914 to 1938.
