And be it further enacted, That the Lord Ordinary in the Outer House, before whom any Suspension or Advocation shall come to be discussed, shall proceed in preparing the Cause for Judgment after the Manner already directed as to Causes in the Outer House; and the Party resisting the Suspension shall be required, by way of Defence in the Outer House, to return Answers to the Reasons of Suspension.
