18In the deed, as amended by the preceding provisions of this Schedule, any reference to the Chequers Estate shall (notwithstanding the definition of that expression in the recitals in the deed) be construed as a reference to so much of the hereditaments conveyed by the indenture dated the fifth day of April one thousand nine hundred and seventeen referred to in the said recitals as for the time being remains vested in the custodian trustee (as defined by the deed as so amended) in his capacity as custodian trustee thereunder.E+W+S+N.I.
