68Custody of lost property on London Board's transport system

As from the vesting date, for references in section one hundred and six of the London Passenger Transport Act, 1933, to the London Passenger Transport Board there shall be substituted references to the London Board.

The repeal by this Act of section one hundred and nineteen of the Transport Act, 1947, shall not affect the London Transport (Lost Property) Regulations, 1960 (which were made under that section), and as from the vesting date those regulations—

a

shall be treated for all purposes, and in particular for the purposes of section eighty-eight of the London Passenger Transport Act, 1935 (which relates to offences against regulations under section one hundred and six of the said Act of 1933), as if they had been made under the said section one hundred and six, and

b

shall have effect, subject to the necessary modifications, as if any reference therein to the Commission or the London Transport Executive were a reference to the London Board.
