428 U.K. In regulation 3(1) (interpretation)—

(a) omit the definition of “the 1998 Act”, and

(b) at the appropriate place insert—

““the data protection legislation” has the same meaning as in the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3 of that Act);”, and

(c) omit the definition of “GDPR”.
