424In regulation 3(1) (interpretation)—

(a)omit the definition of “the 1998 Act”,

(b)at the appropriate place insert—

  • ““the data protection legislation” has the same meaning as in the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3 of that Act);”, and

(c)omit the definition of “GDPR”.
