34Power to make consequential provision

The Secretary of State may by regulations make such amendments and revocations of subordinate legislation (whenever made) as appear to the Secretary of State to be necessary or expedient in consequence of any provision of this Act.

In this section “subordinate legislation” has the same meaning as in the Interpretation Act 1978.

Regulations under this section must be made by statutory instrument.

A statutory instrument containing regulations under this section is subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.
