6 Financial Policy Committee: status and membership U.K.

(1) Section 9B(1) of the Bank of England Act 1998 (Financial Policy Committee) is amended as follows.

(2) In the words before paragraph (a), for “sub-committee of the court of directors” substitute “ committee ”.

(3) For paragraph (b) substitute—

“(b) the Deputy Governor for financial stability,

(ba) the Deputy Governor for markets and banking,

(bb) the Deputy Governor for monetary policy,

(bc) the Deputy Governor for prudential regulation,”.

(4) In paragraph (e) for “4” substitute “ 5 ”.
