Section 222 (arrangements relating to local care services) is amended as follows.

In subsection (3)—

after paragraph (c) insert
or

a clinical commissioning group.

omit paragraph (d), and
c
omit paragraph (e) and the preceding “or”.

After that subsection insert—

The arrangements must not be made with the National Health Service Commissioning Board.
