In the heading, for “the Post Office company and its subsidiaries” substitute “
certain companies
”
.

In subsection (1), for “the Post Office company or of any of its subsidiaries” substitute
—
a
a Post Office company,
b
a Royal Mail company, or
c
a company in the same group as a company within paragraph (a) or (b).

After that subsection insert—

Securities acquired under this section may be held by a nominee.
