8 (1) Section 49 (principles governing conduct of members of relevant authorities) is amended as follows. E+W

(2) Omit subsection (1).

(3) In subsection (2) omit “in Wales (other than police authorities)”.

(4) Omit subsections (2C), (3) and (4).

(5) In subsection (5)(a) omit “in Wales”.

(6) In subsection (6)—

(a) in paragraph (a) at the end insert “ in Wales ”,
