Removal of restriction on transfer notices

17(1)The Pensions Act 2004 is amended as follows.
(2)In section 160(7) (transfer notice)—
(a)for “172(1) and (2)” substitute “172(2)”, and
(b)omit “within first 12 months of assessment period or”.
(3)Omit section 172(1) (no transfer notice within first 12 months of assessment period).
