Removal of restriction on transfer notices U.K.

17 (1) The Pensions Act 2004 is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) In section 160(7) (transfer notice)—

(a) for “172(1) and (2)” substitute “ 172(2) ”, and

(b) omit “within first 12 months of assessment period or”.

(3) Omit section 172(1) (no transfer notice within first 12 months of assessment period).
