58 Infanticide (Northern Ireland)

(1) Section 1 of the Infanticide Act (Northern Ireland) 1939 (c. 5) (offence of infanticide) is amended as follows.

(2) In subsection (1)—

(a) for “notwithstanding that” substitute “if”, and

(b) after “murder” insert “or manslaughter”.

(3) In subsection (2)—

(a) for “notwithstanding that” substitute “if”, and

(b) after “murder” insert “or manslaughter”.
