(1)The UK marine area comprises the following marine planning regions—
(a)the English inshore region;
(b)the English offshore region;
(c)the Scottish inshore region;
(d)the Scottish offshore region;
(e)the Welsh inshore region;
(f)the Welsh offshore region;
(g)the Northern Ireland inshore region;
(h)the Northern Ireland offshore region.
