6 U.K. The increase of the resources authorised for use in respect of Request for Resources 1 of the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills Estimate comprises—

(a) supplementary resources totalling £500,446,000, and

(b) an increase of £1,600,000 in consequence of a transfer of functions from the Cabinet Office (see also Note 34).
