5Section 34(1) of the Coast Protection Act 1949 (c. 74) (consent of Secretary of State required for works detrimental to navigation) shall not apply in relation to anything done within the limits of deviation for the scheduled works in exercise of the powers conferred by this Act in relation to those works, or any work in connection with them.
