Section 21 of the Local Government Act 2000 (overview and scrutiny committees) is amended as follows.

At the end of subsection (4) there is inserted “or section 19 of the Police and Justice Act 2006 (local authority scrutiny of crime and disorder matters)”.

In subsection (10), after “Schedule 1” there is inserted “and to section 20(6) of the Police and Justice Act 2006”.
