Schedule 1 to the House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975 (offices disqualifying for membership) is amended as follows.

In Part 2 (bodies of which all members are disqualified) insert at the appropriate place— “
The Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills.
”

In Part 3 (other disqualifying offices) omit the entries relating to any member of the Adult Learning Inspectorate and to Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools in England.
