1 E+W In Schedule 1 to the Local Authority Social Services Act 1970 (social services functions) after the entry relating to the Children Act 1975 insert—

“Adoption Act 1976

Functions continuing to be exercisable by virtue of any transitional or saving provision made by or under the Adoption and Children Act 2002.”
