42(1)A society may apply to the relevant local authority for registration under this Part.E+W+S
(2)An application under this paragraph—
(a)must be in the prescribed form,
(b)must specify the purposes for which the society is conducted,
(c)must contain such other information, and be accompanied by such documents, as may be prescribed, and
(d)must be accompanied by the prescribed fee.
