1 E+W In section 96 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933 (provisions as to local authorities), in subsection (8), for “or the chief education officer of the authority” substitute “ of the authority, the director of children’s services (in the case of an authority in England) or the chief education officer (in the case of an authority in Wales) ”.
