9Civil Procedure Rules may continue to be made for the purposes of section 4 of the Attachment of Earnings Act 1971 (extension of power to make administration order) notwithstanding the repeal by this Act of section 12(1) of the Insolvency Act 1976, and the repeal of section 12(1) shall not affect the operation of any rules that are in force immediately before the coming into force of the repeal.E+W+S+N.I.
10Section 4(1)(a) of the Attachment of Earnings Act 1971 (power to make administration order on application for attachment of earnings order) continues to have effect with the substitution of “ an administration order should be made ” for “an order should be made for the administration of his estate”.E+W+S+N.I.
