Amend section 183 (effect of execution or attachment) as follows.

In subsection (2)(b), for “sheriff” substitute “enforcement officer or other officer charged with the execution of the writ”.

In subsection (4), for the words from ““the sheriff”” onwards substitute ““enforcement officer” means an individual who is authorised to act as an enforcement officer under the Courts Act 2003”.
