Constitution

The constitution of the Authority must continue to provide for the Authority to have—

a

a chairman; and

b

a governing body.

The governing body must include the chairman.

The chairman and other members of the governing body must be appointed, and be liable to removal from office, by the Treasury.

The validity of any act of the Authority is not affected—

a

by a vacancy in the office of chairman; or

b

by a defect in the appointment of a person as a member of the governing body or as chairman.
