In section 36 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (grant of waste management licences), in subsection (7), for “land which has been notified under section 28(1) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (protection for certain areas)” there is substituted “
within a site of special scientific interest (within the meaning of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981)
”
